The Board of Education is working with North Star Staffing, Inc. in the superintendent search process. Below is a link to a form developed by North Star Staffing, Inc. asking for input in the superintendent selection process. We kindly ask that you respond by January 31, 2012.

Gary Rider, Superintendent of Thornapple Kellogg Schools, has recently announced his plans to retire at the end of the school year. With that in mind, the Thornapple Kellogg Board of Education is beginning a search for a new superintendent of schools. As part of the search process, they are interested in input from staff, parents and the community regarding ideas and viewpoints about characteristics and competencies relevant to the position.
We encourage you to attend an open community forum conducted by North Star Staffing, Inc. representatives on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., in Middle School room 1616.
This meeting will explain the process of the search, give timelines and ask for input from the community about what they would like to see in our next superintendent.
